Also why is Ava letting her sister stay with a POS who would’ve left her if it wasn’t for the baby. Nothing about the relationships in this movie make sense. I honestly don’t understand how Ava could be so in love with Michael, he is the most uninteresting, annoying, and selfish person ever.
Dec 15, 2020 · As an action film Ava had some decently choreographed fight sequences but in a category that has Charlize Theron’s Atomic Blonde kicking all kinds of ass and John Wick’s puppy-loving killer packing theatres, well, decent just doesn’t cut it. One can appreciate what Jessica Chastain was trying to do here, giving us a complicated anti-hero, but the cliché riddled script and only above average action scenes makes this a hard film to recommend.

May 24, 2015 · In a more mainstream movie, Ava would've freed Caleb and they would've ended up holding hands together at an intersection as the music swells and the film fades to black. Ex Machina has plenty more shades of gray, showing that Ava isn't "evolved" enough yet to break cycles of abuse and violence, and how naive Nathan and Caleb were to expect anything else but revenge.
Dec 12, 2020 · This actually made the average 'Haywire' look like a good movie!! 'Ava' was the first movie where I found a really bad performance from Jessica Chastain. The drama with her family looked like rejects from 'Homeland'. Malkovich was fine as usual. Colin Farrell could have avoided the movie, the mustache, and the hairstyle. Overall, it was bad.
Fifthing the use of using Ublock Origin, usually I'll open a Movie site and get like 100 new tabs opened to data grabbing sites/porn sites, but with Ublock, literally nothing. (Just clear your history after you get done using Fmovies though)
Dec 13, 2022 · Bc Ava had blown their cover but it was kinda mixed together with Bea being jealous of Michael (they wouldnt have been there if Ava didnt wanna follow him and Beatrice was convinced Ava had a thing for him and THATS why she went), and also not realizing that she was about to be possessed (obviously Ava could see that but Bea couldn’t, hence the halo use)
