Aug 18, 2024 · It was Ribas' second fight in the UFC, and Dern's third. It was also Dern's first ever pro loss. It's actually an ideal rematch, and excellent matchmaking. I forgive you for not knowing that, because you aren't really paying attention and much of the time you have no idea what you are talking about. It's to be expected.
Aug 18, 2024 · It's hard to place appropriate fights for Ribas as long as she continues to fight in both divisions, but they seem to be very close in momentum and strawweight rankings, so yeah, go for it. First fight was 5 years prior, Ribas has gone 5-4 across 2 divisions since winning while Dern has gone 7-4, which is what ya wanna see. Thumbs up from me.

Nov 18, 2023 · Ribas gets hit and dropped by just about everyone, and Luana has fast, hard strikes. She blitzes hard and usually lands. I think she'll tag Ribas easly. Luana has great Judo has well. Ribas ain't getting her down easily, if at all. And if she does, Luana won't be lost on the ground.

Aug 24, 2023 · Wait, Amanda took a loss and immediately decided she was better off back down at 115 where her chin is arguably even worse? I think Ribas is the much better and more well-rounded fighter technically, but I'm honestly worried she might get clipped here. I don't think much of what I've seen out of Luana, though.
Oct 16, 2014 · ya amanda is a very smart girl. UFC is trying to give Ribas visibility and also negotiate against PVZ. PVZ's contract is up with this fight. if she loses, the UFC wont have to pay her as much or she goes away, while they simultaneously give Amanda some limelight. so why would PVZ take this fight is the question - its high risk.
