Aug 18, 2016 · Amidst much pomp and show in Mumbai, producer Gaurang Doshi and director Anees Bazmee released a promo of Aankhen 2 late on Wednesday night. The makers of the film have retained Amitabh Bachchan as the schizophrenic protagonist. The three blind men will be played by Anil Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Arshad Warsi.

In 2016, Aankhen 2 was first announced with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Regina Cassandra. The makers held a press conference with Big B and Arshad Warsi in attendance. But the project did not roll. The source told the publication, “Sidharth is currently shooting for Mission Majnu in Lucknow, and will begin prep from mid-April.”
Released in 2002, Aankhen starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen in pivotal roles.
