Mar 2, 2021 · Can't install new apps on an old 9.3.5 ipad mini? Anyone, having this issue? Well, simply download the desired app from the store to your newer device (iphone or whatever). Then go to your old ipad and into the appstore. Go to your purchased apps, tap the download icon.

Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Something else to try is to go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings.

Although your Wi-Fi speeds are fine, downloads in the store seem slower than expected. Have a look at If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or iPad.
