BTW, the sole reason I bought the SONY Blu-ray BDP-S3500 was for Crackle for my dad for his birthday so I really would like to get this working. UPDATE: I got it working by doing a Reset to Factory Default Settings and selecting All Settings (I had tried just System Settings and that was not enough) I think the newest Crackle App software has a problem.
Sony WH-1000XM4 static/crackling noise issue after long usage. After multiple hours of usage with ANC enabled, the left earpiece starts to emit loud crackling noises, as can be heard in this recording.

Aug 10, 2019 · Sony Customer Service has handled this issue terribly. Had a similar issue on the WH-1000XM2s (which is similar to the issue on the MDR-1000Xs) -- faulty construction/materials and defects on the headband leading to physical cracking/destruction in the same locations/stress points across multiple users through normal use.
Just purchased a Sony XBR 65x950B and Sony HT-NT5. Both connected to each other via ARC HDMI. I hear crackling noise through the sound bar every now and then and I have to turn the volume at least half way up to get any reasonable level of sound. I can turn TV and Sound Bar off and then turn back on and the crackling will go away for a while.

Apr 26, 2019 · So, got my replacement headphones from Sony(kudos to quick hassle free process of sending a replacement). Unfortunately, the original problem still persists in the new pair of headphones. I am using these with iphone XS Max and as soon as I select any of the Surround(VPT) setting and increase the volume to more than 50% I start hearing the pop from the base.
The devices connected to my AVR DN1080 are: Sony Android TV, Sony UBP-X800, Fire Stick 4K, and with my Alienware laptop. Dolby Atmos content from: Prime Video, Netflix, Tidal (Dolby Atmos music). It's been two months since I opened the issue and I sent it under warranty with United Radio.
