Dec 25, 2020 · I couldn't find any settings in the Microsoft PDF Printer to change this. Solution 1: install Google Chrome, open web page, Print, and select destination as "Save to PDF". Solution 2: install any other PDF printer (such as the free PDF Creator). Really disappointed that I have to install additional software just for this.

Oct 4, 2021 · In order to enable the feature, please perform these steps. Open Microsoft Edge. Type in address bar Edge://flags and press Enter key. Search for Enable Text Highlights for PDF flag. Change it to Enable. Restart Edge and open a PDF document in Edge. Select the text and right click to select Highlights. Choose the color that you prefer.

Feb 9, 2017 · We are using Adobe Reader to open the PDF file. If we use unchecked the option "document structure tags for accessibility" when saving as PDF, the text in the PDF file can be selected/copied/searched successfully. But the option cannot set as unchecked by default and grateful if you can help. SB. Stefan Blom.

Report abuse. this is not specific to edge and appears to be the way the "Microsoft print to PDF" creates the PDF files. when printing from edge look in the list of printers for a "save to PDF", using this instead will allow you to select text when viewing the PDF. you can use the feedback hub (winkey+F) to make the windows development team ...
