Mar 24, 2023 · I have been using the web based Leiapix converter to make side by side stereoscopic pairs and some of the results have been good, but I have been unable to find any instructions for how to use the depth map or the settings for depth, size, hardness and opacity, or the meaning of “Picker” and “Level” that appear on the page with the sliders for the settings - Are there written instructions anywhere?

Oct 7, 2021 · @Johannes_Hainer The version used in LeiaPix Converter is GPU-accelerated in the cloud, as opposed to being done locally on a mobile SOC when you convert on Lume Pad. @MarkJeffcock LIF files are in the .jpg file format, the metadata is already encoded into the image and will be readable by Lume Pad in LeiaPlayer.
Jun 30, 2022 · LeiaPix Converter is your own images, so you can export full resolution SBS and LIF. LeiaPlayer is also your own images, so you can export SBS and LIF as well. LeiaPix has you primarily viewing other people’s images, so we restrict the types of files you can export so that people don’t download and reupload other people’s content.
Feb 1, 2024 · There has never been a LeiaPix app for desktop. The vast, vast majority of users create animations. Over 80% of the usage of the product is for animations. Feb 28, 2023 · Glad you’re liking LeiaPix Converter! As of now there is no way to get larger sizes as Leia is paying for the cloud costs and it could get very expensive to be uncompressed. However we are planning on releasing a paid version in just a few months that should have all the features pros will want. Thank you for your patience. Nima
Feb 15, 2023 · Hey @Falcon,. There’s two ways you can do it. You can look into using the depth maps from LeiaPix Converter to create geometry that the original image can map on top of, or instead you can export as an SBS image and use the Media SDK to play them back on the Lume Pad.
