  1. Mar 24, 2012 · usermac • Contributor , Mar 24, 2012. OK, I found it myself: 1. Tools - Pages - Edit Page Design - Header & Footer - Add Header & Footer. 2. Select the font and size, etc, place the cursor on the appropriate site to insert the page number, click the "Insert Page Number" button, and click OK. That is! 4 Upvotes.

  2. Jun 16, 2016 · As mentioned, in Reader it can be done using text comments, and it can be automated using a script. For example, you can use this (paid-for) tool I've developed to do it: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat/Reader -- Advanced Add Header/Footer Text. 1 Upvote.

  3. Dec 4, 2017 · Well, actually, yes you can. If you're creating a PDF form using "Prepare Form" in Acrobat Pro DC, you can choose which text field become read-only once the document is signed. This allows multiple signatures on one document, each with its own customized list of items that become "locked" after signature.

  9. Jul 6, 2023 · PDF is supposed to be "epaper". What paging system have you seen that would bury the page number on the side of a user interface like this? And nowhere does it say "page i of n" to give you a clue. The UI seems completely broken. Another clue: The find command is now "find text or tools"!
