There is also a baton strip fastened below it to give it extra support. I can actually sit on mine, so I guess it will support 60kg.

Sep 30, 2014 · The Ikea Besta Burs TV unit is a great looking unit apart from it has two massive drawers each side: BESTÅ BURS TV bench - high-gloss white - IKEA. I decided to build it and change the drawers to cupboards and at a later date add in a couple of shelves which was simple to achieve using a couple of Screwix Easy Mount Hinges (38662).

Ive seen on here and other sites where people have also wall mounted the tv stand which is like mine (besta range is 60cm blocks and you can join then to make as many as you want, ive done 3).
Jan 13, 2017 · I am thinking of getting the 180 cm wide, 64 cm tall Ikea TV Bench. I plan on putting a 65" TV and a centre speaker, around 20.3 cm tall, on top. The TV will be raised sufficiently above the centre speaker by a desktop TV stand.
