Jul 20, 2017 · Thank you, Bernd. I've found the Action Wizard and added the Export function. A follow up question: when I select "word" format the program 1) still requires that I approve the conversion to word format (i.e., vs. excel or another format) and 2) that I select where I want it saved (when this is part of the "Save" function) and 3) what the file name should be (again, part of the "Save" function also baked into the wizard).

May 9, 2020 · Using the Action Wizard in Acrobat Pro. You can create an Action with just a Save command and run it on your Word files to convert them all to PDFs, and you can use a similar Action with a Save command but set it to export the files to Word for the reverse.
Mar 27, 2018 · The Action wizard doesn't include the Create section where I can find the Conversion commands. But I found in the File menu in the sub-menu "Create" the command "Create a batch of files", which was not present in the Create menu of the Tools ribbon. So, I can convert my Word file in PDF with this command.

I click Add Files and add a couple of files (I have tested doing just 1) In Output Options I have tried all of the permutations. I click OK. The file opens in Word 2016 and a PDFMaker message appears - Converting to Adobe PDF.

Please share the exact workflow you do. Please check what happens when you convert single files to PDF? Does it convert without any issues?
