ZeroGPT is stupid as a countermeasure for teaching because students really cheating with AI would just edit their work until the tools says it's ok. And you don't need tools to catch low effort AI cheating, parts will probably feel out of place for the essay and get a low grade regardless of AI policy.

Here is what I used: After the output of whatever chatGPT generates for you, add "reformat that to use more colloquial words" Please find more prompts to bypass zeroGPT's (and other) detection processes and leave them in the comments, I'll add them below.

Feb 18, 2023 · I wanted to test the accuracy myself today, I copy and pasted a transcribed version of the United States constitution. ZeroGPT gave it a nice and solid 94.64% of being ai generated. You heard it here first folks, ChatGPT was even being abused in 1787. GPTZero, believed it to be entirely ai written if I could even successfully scan it.

Apr 10, 2023 · No, and no. There's no magic way to detect text written by an AI. RLHF has been used on GPT-3.5 and 4, creating a distinct speaking pattern, but I'd imagine that competitors don't even have that.

Mar 17, 2023 · zerogpt So, I decided to put my essay through ZEROGPT, which is supposed to detect whether AI was used to write the essay. The thing is, I didn’t use AI to write my essay, and yet it claims that I my text “may include parts written by AI” and then highlights the possible parts.
May 15, 2023 · Use a website like ZeroGPT and others to check your essay before submitting it to Turnitin. Test the largest sample sizes possible. If you are using ChatGPT to write code for university assignments, you should refactor the code as much as possible. Remove any text in ChatGPT's comments and write your own.
