Sep 25, 2023 · We ordered items from Asda, via Just-Eat. The first delivery was marked as delivered. It wasn't delivered to us. All address details are 100% correct. Our house is not hard to find, the number can clearly be seen from the main road. We tried to contact Just Eat but there was no live chat available at the time.
Jan 28, 2024 · Hi I ordered food via the just eat app Saturday evening to the value of £27.48, the estimated delivery time kept moving further and further and the food was eventually delivered approx 1 hr after it was originally expected.
Apr 8, 2024 · Hi there, I ordered a takeaway from McDonald's via Just Eat on Friday. When the app alerted me it had been delivered, I opened my door to find one small bag, nowhere near large enough for my whole order, sitting on my doormat with no delivery man in sight (this is common practice, I live in a block of flats).
Mar 13, 2023 · They refunded the cookies, no problem, but the meal came to £8.69, and they emailed me back to say that they had given me £4.35 Just Eat credit to (in their words) “cover the value of the affected items.” So I emailed back and said actually the affected item came to £8.69, so you haven’t covered the cost.
Nov 3, 2024 · Just eat take the money and you have to go through them for refunds, as for the comment on taxing these services, I was ill and unable to get to the shops, why should I have to pay an extra tax just to make sure I can eat !! But thanks for your judgment
Jun 10, 2024 · I am an avid user of just eat (no longer after this horrible experience), so how does that make sense for a regular customer who is not at fault of orders going wrong. Of course the claim will be on the higher side compared to a less frequent user. I am absolutely appauld. I really want to take this further because this is not right.
Jan 6, 2019 · Just Eat have no customer security. If a restaurant lies about a delivery being made, but tells Just Eat they did deliver, that is the only evidence needed for them. More and more takeaways are figuring this out, and selectively scamming people. Say, 10% of orders. The payment is made to Just Eat.
Mar 14, 2023 · Op just eat are terrible, I’ve had a lot of issues with them and have now closed my account, I can understand why you want a refund, but just eat really don’t care, and I don’t think you will get a refund, my advice would be to vote with your feet.
Apr 10, 2020 · Just eat are refusing to refund me saying it is the takeaways responsibility. The takeaway are simply flat refusing to even answer the phone to me. I have reported just eat to trading standards as in my view they failed to provide what I paid them for and I'm hoping by the posting here someone can advise me of what to try next and I also hope people see this and avoid just eat.
Nov 17, 2020 · i am considering doing deliveries for Just Eat But it is classed as self employed as a self employed driver how would this be worked out example say i worked 20 hours in a week and for example £250 was paid into my bank for deliveries and fuel i am using my own car have to pay delivery insurance on top of my regular insurance say £20 for 20 hours pay as you go i have done 400 delivery miles that has cost me that is 15 pence a mile so thats cost me £60 now the question is as i am self ...
