Isuzu Trooper TOD and 4WD Problems. boottmills Member Posts: 2. January 2009. I was wondering if anyone else is having issues with their Torque on Demand systems going into 4WD. The 4WD does not engage at all and the TOD display on my dash blinks at me for about 60 seconds and then the red "CHECK" light starts flashing at me.
Recently, my 2000 Rodeo has started stalling out at random stoplights and stop signs (mostly when I take my foot off the brake to start going again). We put in fuel injection cleaner, cleaned the throttle body, changed all the spark plugs, changed the fuel filter, and changed the pcv valve. Now it runs REALLY well except for the random stalls.

It is a bundle of wires (part #8-97148-639-8-Costs $413.46, paid $330 from Seekonk Isuzu 401-434-6985) that comes of your fuse box inside the engine and spiders out throughout every sensor/electrical device under the hood. The wires that normally go bad runs in a black plastic tray on top of the engine.

Isuzu Rodeo Transmission Questions. New member, have 2002 Rodeo, V6, 2-WD, leaking transmission fluid from Servo.....I'm taking to dealer this weekend for their people to fix. Warranty is 10 year, 120K. Only have 49.5K. Is this an expensive repair and or should this be covered by warranty. Any comments are greatly appreciated.
My '94 Isuzu Trooper S (3.2 lt, V6 SOHC) has 105K miles on it. It is the perfect SUV. Battery was flat, I jump started and drove. Everything was perfect for the first 80 miles. Then instrument panel problems emerged. All Gauges stopped working intermittently for 1 or 2 seconds at a time and kept coming back to normal. I kept driving the next day.

Isuzu Rodeo Reduced Power Light Fix. Ok, those of you who are having electrical issued with your rodeo, where the engine stalls, or misses, or you hit a bump and the reduced power light comes on---- here is the simple FIX (the first place you should check) it solved my problem immediately, and hopefully it will yours.
