Jun 26, 2019 · Don't waist your time. My advice is go to Daily Transcription if you have 6months to 1 year experience. They offer verbatim work and pay 75 cents to 1.00 per audio minute. Average is .80 cents which is good. But they are changing rules and expect you to type 8:1 or 4:1 ratio.

If you really enjoy the work and want to do transcription as a serious part time income then you should join a serious transcription forum and search for good paying companies. Transcribing audio is not much per hour of time spent until you're experienced and handy with transcription software and document editors and text expanders and the formatting rules of the contacting company.

May 23, 2017 · They are: GMR Transcription (the one that I regularly work with), Rev, and TranscribeMe. Apart from that, other options like CastingWords, Speechpad are also good. You can also register and upload your resume on the transcription job board to give your profile exposure to multiple transcription companies.

Tip, though: you better be good at it because plenty of apps transcribe these days and they're already 80% good enough. I still pay for transcription (i already have peeps on call) but my guys get the 80% to 100% and I find that worth paying for. 1.
Jun 25, 2017 · Well, they have enough work for transcribers. I always get my payments on time. Although I've passed the transcription tests and have my transcriptionist profile with the previously mentioned transcription companies, I much prefer working with TranscribeMe and GMR Transcription. It's because of their great team support and timely payments.
