A 737 Max would be somewhere in the 125-145 knots range I guess. For airplanes two different speeds matter. Speed through the air and speed across the ground. The difference being the wind speed. All the above speeds are air speeds. So if a plane comes in in to land it typically does so against the wind.

Akasa Air operates a fleet of Boeing 737-8 MAX aircrafts the same infamous type of planes which were involved in 2 horrific crashes in 2018 and 2019 after which they were grounded by various airline regulators around the world.

Thanked: 3,206 Times. Re: Review: My 1st Akasa Air B737-MAX Flight. Regardless of the smoothness of the engine and the 'bliss' ( features ), I'll never ever book my travel in a 737 Max consciously. It's a fundamentally flawed design. The engine placement altered the balance of the aircraft.
In fact, Akasa's notice period (of 6 months) might be on the lower side to be able to attract pilots. One of the arguments for this is the extensive training costs involved for pilots. A friend who was a Senior Pilot with Jet Airways flying Boeing had to join Go Air and now Air India.

Feb 19, 2024 · With the grounding of Go First, by September, IndiGo's market share grew to 63.4%, while the Tata Group held 26.5%. Other operators include SpiceJet and Akasa Air. The former holds just 4.4% market share, while the latter is still a fledgling that has been in service for just ~17 months and holds a market share of 4.2%.
The air traffic of the country is expected to double by 2030. The government is repeatedly reiterating their commitment to develop 200 additional airports in next 10 years. Considering all of this And with the vacuum created by Jet and Air India there is all the room for exponential growth of this airline.
