The only way a virus can get to you is if the torrent itself has a virus in it (as would be the case for any torrent). Oct 28, 2021 · Yts.mx is the correct URL. I love how this site has such a large collection of films available (over 35,000) and that there's an API. I managed to download the .torrent files for the best quality version of each film and bulk download them all on my NAS Server. That's over 35,000 movies; mostly 1080p; which occupies roughly 60TB of disc space.
YTS is the smallest file size which is still acceptable. Also I made it so my mom can add movies to her IMDB watchlist, and radar will auto download them. My mom wants to download tons of terrible hallmark type movies, and she’ll request like 10-20 movies a month. I set all her movies to try and download from YTS first to save space.
Jun 16, 2020 · Unfortunately YTS only started to use 5.1 in 1080p recently, so older releases use stereo AAC at 128 kbps, which even then are better than the old YIFY rips. So I hope this information is somewhat useful and certain people understand that YTS is an actually acceptable choice for what they offer if people want to consume these rips.
Mar 6, 2020 · But enough of a difference to notice and develop a preference. Picture is still noisy, but sound is a lot better than YTS. All the folks doing ~5gb 10bit x265 releases are my sweet spot these days, small enough to still fit a couple thousand movies on a drive, and not remux quality, but look better than Netflix at least on a 50" 4k TV.
May 16, 2019 · Yeah for movies I don't personally care for I use them. Most people in my family can't tell if my copy of Ferris Bueller's Day off is the 10 GB original blueray rip or the compressed 1.6 GB version. But for big cinematic movies like the Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises, I said fuck it and spent 150GB on two movies because they're awesome and visually stunning movies
Jul 17, 2021 · You can verify this easily too, but comparing old YTS movies (which used to be 2.0) to its RARBG equivalents (which were 5.1 for as long as I can remember). Personally, I managed to improve this issue noticeably by tweaking MPC-HC settings, but 2.0 is still clearer/better even on my 5.1 Harman-Kardon system...
Jul 24, 2023 · It’s most noticeable in dark scenes and fast paced action scenes. It’s especially noticeable in dark action scenes. With that said YTS versions are still perfectly watchable and if it was the only option available or if I was severely space limited or bandwidth limited it would be fine. I just prefer the best available option.
