Before connecting the Wacom tablet to your computer, Open Device Manager > Then, connect your Wacom tablet to your computer and check which driver is installed in Device Manager. Once you get to know which driver is installed for your Wacom tablet, right-click on those drivers and click on Uninstall.

Whenever I'm editing a text or touching a text box or anything like that, the on-screen keyboard pops up automatically. This is extremely annoying, even more when I'm editing technical drawings or complex objects.
Sep 22, 2022 · From what I know, the Wacom Intuos 3 works on Windows 10 but not 11. Wacom has stated that the last support for this model is 10. Is it possible on Microsoft's end to enable/update compatibility of driver from Win 10 to 11? Or is this solely on Wacom's end? Problem is, the tablet and stylus are detectable on Win 11 by default/USB plug-in.
Jul 14, 2018 · Wacom and Word I have a Wacom tablet. When I pull up a document in Word, I can either choose "Options, Advanced, Enable pen to interact" to use the pen to scroll or use the same choices "Options, Advanced, uncheck the Enable pen to interace" to use the pen to draw.
Dec 5, 2015 · I have Wacom software version 7.0.2-24 (ISD Tablet is the program and Wacom is the publisher). I saw some tutorials online on how to make a Backup of the wacom settings so that when it is reinstalled than it can be used easily, but I don't see why it needs to be uninstalled in the first place.
Aug 31, 2020 · Go to device manager, right click wacom. Update driver, browse from list, and instead choose I2C HID device. It might work rgiht there. If it does not, do the same process but this time wacom and keep switching back and forward. Then restart the laptop. Your touchscreen initially before logging in might be working now.
May 11, 2017 · I uninstalled the driver and installed drivers from wacom site and after that i noticed in device manager that one of my usb slot is not recognized (Unknown USB Device [ Device description request failed ] and in properties shows this status " Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems.

Aug 11, 2021 · Wacom even replaced the 2018 Cintiq pro 24 with a refurbed 2020 model, still wont connect. The original device connected fine for over 2 years to the same laptop until Feb 2021. Then one day for no apparent reason, no device connected. I tried it on a different laptop also Win 10. no device connected. A Wacom Intuos connects fine
