Hi, I was surprised to see that there is no direct download link available for the WinRT version of VLC like the regular version. I would like to use the WinRT version of VLC, but I deleted the MS store so I cannot use the store link.

Sep 20, 2024 · It happens on Windows 10 (10.0.19045 Build 19045) and Windows 11 (10.0.22631 Build 22631). The problem is not the OS, since it does not crash using VLC 3.0.20. So if you open the uploaded video in vlc 3.0.21 and let it play until the end. Does your player stay open after it finished and does not close itself?

Nov 29, 2023 · On Windows 7 and above, you should use Direct3d11 video acceleration. Make sure to set VLC like that: Tools -> Preferences -> Video. Output = Direct3D11. Tools -> Preferences -> Input/Codecs. Hardware accelerated decoding = D3D11 Video Acceleration. Save, exit and restart VLC for the changes to take effect.

Jan 27, 2016 · While playing a video, I have tried recording a portion of it by pressing the red record button. I wait a few seconds and then click it again to deactivate. According to everything I've read, VLC should generate a file and save it to my videos directory. However, there is no file generated. I've searched the computer, there is nothing.
