Tukoji Rao Holkar (26 June 1723 – 15 August 1797), belonging to the Holkar clan of the Marathas was the feudatory of Indore (r. 1795–1797). Tukoji Holkar was the adopted son of Malhar Rao Holkar, he was the second son of Shrimant Tanuji Holkar, a nephew of Malhar Rao Holkar.
Tukoji completed his education from the Daly College, Indore and ICC, Dehradun. In 1911, Tukoji attended the coronation of George V of the United Kingdom in London. He founded the Order of Merit of Holkar (February 1914) and the Order of Ahilyabai Holkar (22 November 1920).

Sir Tukoji rao Holkar II (1844-1886) was the son of a distant relative by the name of Sardar Santojirao Holkar. He was declared king by the British. His adoptive mother acted as his regent until he came of age.
Tukoji Holkar, a distant relative whom she had appointed as commander of her forces, succeeded her two years later; on his death, in 1797, his illegitimate son Jaswant Rao seized power.

Maharajadhiraj Raj Rajeshwar Sawai Shri Sir Tukoji Rao II Holkar XI Bahadur [1] GCSI CIE (3 May 1835 – 17 June 1886) was the Maharaja of Indore (Holkar State) and a member of the Maratha Holkar dynasty. His birth name was Shrimant Yukaji Jaswant Holkar.
Tukoji Rao had been a commander under Ahilyabai for her entire rule. His son Yashwantrao Holkar (r. 1797–1811) (also called as Jaswant Rao) succeeded him upon his death. Attempts by Yashwantrao Holkar to unite the kings failed, and he was approached to sign a peace treaty with the British.
