Optional but highly Recommended - In Stremio, click the puzzle piece in the top right to view your addons. Click "My Addons" and uninstall the "WatchHub" addon.
Mar 1, 2024 · Never seen in Torrentio more than 2-3 provider in the results links (usually only Tgx, EZTV). This simply isn't true anymore like it was only a few months ago. Stremio-jacket, annatar, jackettio and knightcrawler are all viable alternatives that will return similar results as torrentio.
Jul 17, 2023 · Hopefully this can be simplified if the Stremio and Torrentio devs make some changes: If add addon would accept a URL with the stremio:// protocol and not have to change it to https:// If in Torrentio, next to the Install button (or under it), there was a button/link to copy addon URL to clipboard.

as a backup to stremio, I use qbittorrent for both search and download. just add all the public torrent addons like 1337x, TPB, torrentgalaxy and other. private torrent site addons can be added also, sort out the search as per seeders and you are good to go. Just finished setting up Stremio with Torrentio/RealDebrid. All good this side, really smooth experience. Works a treat on out CCGTV devices. 20+ years working in IT, and I have only just come across this method to stream out of necessity since my paid for Plex share has gone down due to storage issues with dropbox/google.
Jan 14, 2024 · For me, I don't have to switch from stremio to any other app or install any other add ons. Torrentio is working perfectly with Offcloud. It's just the changed that Real debrid did behind the scenes that broke the RD integration with Torrentio. With this I hope more people start using Offcloud so I can switch to offcloud full time.
The upsides are numerous. With torrents you always expose your IP because your not only downloading but also uploading content automatically. With debrid services, you basically give them a torrent link, (this happens automatically with apps like stremio) they cache the torrent and you only download from their servers.
