He won't accept it won't actually work, is there any possible way to go in with tlauncher? Or do I have to make him get money and buy it. It says "You haven't logged onto Hypixel before and we're in offline mode." if that helps.

Look Tlauncher and real Minecraft are LITTERALLY the same thing. The only change is the account you are using. Most launchers support cracked accounts. But Mojang Minecraft launcher only supports premium accounts. YOU CAN USE A PREMIUM ACCOUNT ON TLAUNCHER. Just login with you Mojang account and play.
