Jun 1, 2007 · You dim tick is selected under the dimension style properties, however you can create longer ticks under settings>annotations>arrowheads, select diagnol in the pulldown and you can create new ones of diff lenghts and angles. Report. 6 Likes. Reply.

I had to set it to 2mm in order to get it to plot around 3mm long ... note: scale is set to 1:100. As to the direction of the diagonal tick, perhaps Autodesk might consider adding an alignment option: "View" or "Dimension Line". Cheers.

Nov 18, 2013 · The tick should slope in the same direction relative to the text in horizontal, vertical, and aligned/angled dimensions.
