谢邀。区别就是势能和自由能的区别。具体应用里，势能面基本只用于小分子量化计算，比如扫描分子中某一几何自由度（键长、键角等等），取若干个数值点，其中每个点上把该自由度固定在该数值，然后在这个限制条件下对分子其它几何自由度进行优化得到一个能量（势能），最后把每个势能与其对应的数值plot出来就是此分子关于该自由度的势能面。
