Dec 29, 2021 · SORA works fine, mess around with the color settings and it's alright, but imo SVS and BSL feel more like proper shaders. Also, yet again, render quality really helps with FPS on anything no matter what and a shader having anti-aliasing is really useful when you lower said render quality which SORA doesn't have sadly.

Mar 1, 2021 · I usually use Sildur's Shaders, and I usually only have one problem, but those don't effect normal survival Minecraft. However I recently discovered Sora Shaders and I really liked how they looked. So I installed them, but to my dismay I was greeted with horrible Lighting Glitches. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? Please help.

Feb 28, 2023 · I still only play in 1.7.10 modded and BSL has been the only shader ive found that works for it Only thing i dont like is how you cant see the rain or snow coming down unlike another shader ive tried using (but done due to it causing visual glitches with some modded blocks that dont exist with bsl like chairs going white textured)
Feb 3, 2021 · Again, different shaders offer different results. There are many of them out there: BSL, Sildurs, Comp, SEUS, Kappa, Continuum, Nostalgia, just to name a few. Give them all a try and see what you like. If you like your shaderpack, see if it is offered in a lighter version. Shaders such as Sildurs offer a range of packs from Lite to Extreme-VL.

Sep 20, 2021 · Depends on what you mean by low end, a Chromebook can barely run Minecraft let alone shaders, but if you mean like iris/iris plus type of graphics out of a more modern thin and light laptop, then chocopic toaster edition, builders, tea shaders, and sildurs enhanced default can all be heavily tweaked to run a more solid 60-40fps at something from 8-16 chunks, just don’t expect results without a lot of tweaking first though.
