You have 2 IP addresses, one is a local IP address and goes form your laptop to your router, the second is your Router IP address and that is controlled by your Internet service Provider, they may have switched servers which would account for an IP address change . . . To find your correct public IP address, google 'What's My IP'.
Because sometimes the ISP will assign a public IP address in IPv6 format if the lease for IPv4 runs out. With regards to your media disconnected connections, base on the description it refers to the Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter which is used for Hotspot. It only states the status of the virtual adapter.
