Self drive rentals are the most convenient and cheapest way to move around in Goa. Do it if you think you are skilled enough and are comfortable on narrow Goa/undivided roads. You will see more self drive rentals than white number plate cars everywhere. I had selected the automatic Brezza/ Sonet/ Venue/ Magnite category.

Re: Feedback on different Self Drive rental agencies. Hired Scorpio from Revv. 4.5 days, 530kms, approximately charges Rs18000. Was disappointed to see base S3 model. M2DiCR engine. It had 54000kms on the odometer. Clean vehicle, overall condition was good.
Mar 6, 2013 · Zoom is a brand new, membership-based, hyper-local self-drive service in Bangalore. You can hire cars on an hourly or daily basis. The technology for reservation, pick-up and drop-off results in a high level of automation. Vehicles (seven of them) are currently located at Brigade Gateway in Malleshwaram, but new locations will be added.
Self Drive cars mostly are white plate cars given on hire by these so called agencies barring only a few that give you those black plate cars. Was in Goa with friends during monsoons of 2015. We kept looking for self drive cars and in the end had to settle for a white plate car.
You need to call and reconfirm the day before you take the cars. They will provide the numbers of the delivery drivers who will contact you on landing. You meet them in the car park and they video the car and collect your ID. You make full payment either by cash or UPI plus Rs 1500 for collection /delivery in cash.
