The Sayyid dynasty was the fourth dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate, ruling from 1414 to 1451. It was founded by Khizr Khan, a Timurid vassal and a Punjabi chieftain, who conquered Delhi in 1414 and claimed to be a descendant of Muhammad.
