Sanjay Vijay Manjrekar pronunciation ⓘ (born 12 July 1965) is an Indian cricket commentator and former cricketer. He played international cricket for India from 1987 until 1996 as a right-handed middle order batsman. He was a part of the Indian squads which won the 1990-91 Asia Cup and 1995 Asia Cup .
Sanjay Manjrekar was a right-hand top order batter who played for India from 1987 to 1996. He had a technical style similar to Sunil Gavaskar, but struggled to score consistently on bouncy pitches and reinvented himself as an opener.
