The Sangh Parivar (translation: "Family of the RSS" or the "RSS family" [1] [2] [3]) refers, as an umbrella term, to the collection of Hindutva organisations spawned by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which remain affiliated to it.
It is the progenitor and leader of a large body of organisations called the Sangh Parivar (Hindi for "Sangh family"), which has developed a presence in all facets of Indian society and includes the Bharatiya Janata Party, the ruling political party under Narendra Modi, the 14th prime minister of India. This year, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's ‘Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal' baithak will be held on 25th and 26th October 2024 in Parakham village, near Mathura, located in the Braj Prant of Western Uttar Pradesh. This meeting is conducted annually around this time, before Diwali.
