A bit of research will help you know which programs are/aren't accredited, but easier answer is that RRC has accredited diploma programs that employers recognise as valid and useful education. 0. Award. I'm considering attending Robertson College, but finding any information aside from what they post on their own website is pretty difficult.
Depends what you’re taking. Robertson can be fine if it’s something like legal assistant, or lab teach assistant. Cdi is fine for dental assisting or legal assisting. It really is a matter of looking in to the cost vs. Benefits and the Government gives bursaries to people on EIA or EI to attend these schools.
Oct 20, 2020 · Yes, go with Red River, Assiniboine or MITT. These are subsidized colleges where the tuition less than half. The standards to get in though a lot higher and limited space as a result. CDI and Robertson are private colleges so their main goal is profit so if you have the money, you can pretty much go there. Reply.
No, they are a for-Profit diploma mill... Red River is better in every way and doesn't cost much more.. Robertson and Herzing etc... are better than nothing on a resume but that's about it, someone with real training will get the jobs over them. 9.
Aug 7, 2023 · Here's the thing, if you want to work in your chosen field then go with RRC. Robertson College is about as reputable as Trump University. Avoid at all costs. Robertson is garbage. Choose RRC. RRC is the better choice but I think ACC has a campus in Wpg that has the ECE program too. Do not go to Robertson.
Sep 8, 2022 · The ECE program at Red River is the OG, and still highly regarded in the field. The program at Robertson is brand new, and I know nothing about it and haven't had any students from there. MITT has an ECE program, as do Assiniboine Community College and St Boniface. I went to Red River, and would still choose that program hands down.
Apr 12, 2024 · The Medical Laboratory program at Red River would be worlds better than Robertson and likely more portable. The MLA job market in Winnipeg is over saturated. Most MLAs spend the day taking blood and getting yelled at by patients, it is hard on the body and the soul. It’s very hard to find a permanent full time placement.
Dec 8, 2018 · Neither. Generally, RRC is the only option if you want to graduate and get into the industry ASAP in Winnipeg. Herzing, Robertson, CDI, etc. are not really worth it for the value they provide. I went to a private college and paid $11,000 for a 9 month course. RRC offered the same course (but better) 2 years for $4000.
Sep 29, 2021 · Seriously don't go to Robertson College that diploma won't be worth the cost of the paper it's printed on. Red River College is well respected by various industries in this province and is the only community college any serious recruiter would look at in this province.
Suing CDI college. Community. This college is still scamming students making lives of students miserable. It is disorganized with idiot scammers keep calling all day to persuade students to enroll for their programs. No one care about you wether you attend classes or not.
