Ram Nath Thakur (born 3 March 1950 in Karpoori Gram, Samastipur district, Bihar) a politician from Janata Dal (United) party, is a Member of the Parliament of India representing Bihar in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament.
Ram Nath Thakur is an Indian politician who has served as MLA in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Minister in several Bihar governments, and Rajya Sabha MP. He has been associated with JDU for more than a decade. He is also popular for being the elder son of popular Bihar politician, Karpoori Thakur.
