Rahul Sharad Dravid (/ ˌ r ɑː h ʊ l d r ə v ɪ d / ⓘ; born 11 January 1973) is an Indian cricket coach and former captain of the Indian national team, currently serving as its head coach. Known for his outstanding batting technique, [2] Dravid scored 24,177 runs in international cricket and is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket .
Rahul Dravid was a classical Test batter and a reliable middle-order batsman in ODIs, who played for India from 1996 to 2012. He scored 13288 runs in 164 Tests, including 36 hundreds, and 10889 runs in 344 ODIs, with a highest score of 153.
