Pratt Memorial School, situated at 168, Acharya Jagdish Chandra Bose Road, Kolkata – 700014, was founded in 1876 in the memory of Archdeacon John Henry Pratt as an English Medium School primarily for the education of Anglo Indian Christian Children.
In 1876, five years after his death in 1871, under the instructions of the Bishop of Calcutta, Bishop Robert Milman, the girls were shifted to an old building on the church vicarage grounds and called Pratt Memorial School.
At present the strength of Pratt Memorial Guide Group includes 58 Guides and Recruits along with 43 Bulbuls. The Bul Buls and Guides partake in various activities through the year that provide an all-rounded development and inculcate in our children, the qualities of leadership, and teamwork.
