Prabhavati Devi Narayan (née Prasad; 1904 – 15 April 1973) was an Indian independence activist from the present-day state of Bihar, and wife of compatriot independence and social activist, Jayprakash Narayan.
Prabhavati Devi was the daughter of Dhanapati Dash and Manikya Devi of village Dashapara of Bargarh district. She was born in 1909. Though she became a widow at the age of 10 years when she was in class five, her conservative Brahminical tradition could not keep her in the four walls of her home.
