It's the second or third biggest city in the UK with the highist number of pubs and bars per person in the UK. If you don't like what is in the main city centre there is lots in "greater manchest" that are just a tram ride away.
Right near Dartmoor, Cornwall and the beauty of the South Devon countryside. Nice science labs. They're currently spending a lot of money on rejuvenating the library (it needed it!) Cons: Quite a small campus. Their need to spend £100,000 on a handful of graduation chairs and £300,000 on a giant TV screen.

Plymouth like all cities has the good, bad and the plain ugly (the chavs lol). What kind of course are you thinking about doing? If it is a science, especially Environmental Science (which I am doing), Marine Biology, etc then this place would be ideal because of the coast, the National Marine Aquarium and having Dartmoor National Park nearby.

Same for Plymouth just in case they short list A*AA like they did for 2022 entry I suspect neither of them will mind as you haven’t resat but it’s always good to get confirmation in writing when dealing with non straightforward situations x good luck and well done!
