Playnite doesn't store any user information on remote servers. All information about your library is stored locally on your PC. When linking account we only save the same amount of information as when you sign-in into related library/store via web browser.
Playnite look in both Desktop and Fullscreen modes can be also changed using add-ons. Add-ons can be installed using 'Download' buttons on the list below (if you have Playnite already installed) or in the Add-ons menu inside Playnite. To install a theme in Playnite, follow these steps: In Playnite Desktop Mode, navigate to Main menu > Add-ons… > Browse and finally Themes Desktop or Themes Fullscreen depending of the type of theme you want to install. Select the theme you want to install. On the right side, click the Install button and wait for the theme to download
Running Playnite with elevated user rights (as Administrator) can prevent drag-and-drop functionality. Avoid running Playnite as an admin or run the source of the drag operation as an admin. Games disappearing, Resetting Properties. Syncing Playnite's library files via cloud solutions (OneDrive, Google Drive) can result in this issue.
Apr 14, 2023 · The advantage is you don't have to use multiple launcher interfaces, just Playnite's and see a list of all games from everywhere. Also if you use Flow Launcher to do text based launching and install the Playnite Plug-in you can also run all your installed games that you run through Playnite as well, if you like text launchers.

Safe Mode starts Playnite with all third-party extensions disabled and using only default theme. To start Safe Mode, you can: Navigate to Main menu > Help > Restart in Safe Mode. Open the Safe Mode.bat file from Playnite's installation directory. Use the --safestartup application argument when starting Playnite's executable.
Nov 7, 2023 · Add the game to Playnite, and search Fitgirl as described above. Download repack as described above. Go to Playnite, click Install, find Fitgirl download folder. If it doesn't open setup.exe, point it to the setup.exe file. Install. When install is done, it will ask for game.exe. This doesn't matter.
