This will normally be set to either Direct Sound or Windows Audio Session. Changing to the other setting may help. If not set back to the first option and apply once more.

Mystifyingly though my speakers completely stopped working, alongside my microphone and headphone jack. From what I can deduce the Cirrus Logic drivers are incompatible with the latest version of Windows 10.

That designation is for a brand / model of headphones. I'd wager that your neighbor has a pair. My neighbors have 2 pair which both show up when I open my Bluetooth.
Aug 3, 2021 · In device manager under audio had generic speakers and headphone. click through properies and then settrings to see driver. Then update driver, browse my computer option, let me pick from a list of avialble drivers. UNCLICK "show compatible hardware". Now gives a list of manufacturers.
May 6, 2020 · Unless you have a T2 controller, the Audio driver is either RealTek or Cirrus. In Windows Device Manager, under View, click on Show Hidden Devices and check. You can also check msinfo32. You should have intcaud.sys as the driver. This is from a 2018 rMBP, which has the Apple T2 controller. (1) mschira Author.

So, go to Settings, select your name at the top of the list, select iCloud in the second grouping on that page, then select Notes in the Saved to iCloud grouping, then turn off Sync this iPhone (or iPad), and then turn it back on.
