PENINSULA imo was pretty bad. everything good/great about TRAIN TO BUSAN is not here in this obvious cash-grab sequel. the character development is non-existent. the lead male character played by normally very good actor Dong-Won Gang is played more robotic/flat than any android/robot character in any Sci-Fi movie ever made.
Jul 17, 2020 · Here are my thoughts. : r/movies. I watched Peninsula (2020) early in South Korea today. Here are my thoughts. I am currently traveling in South Korea, and the movie came out a couple days ago here, AND the COVID-19 situation isn’t as severe as it is in America, so my family and I went to the theatre to watch this movie.
Watch Peninsula yesterday was a fun popcorn movie nothing great just fun. Of course nowhere as good as Train to Busan but was expecting that. People that complain it looks cheap I can only say its not true, movie looks good that's what I like about Asian movies they can make a movie look like a big budget movie with. a small budget.

Jun 5, 2023 · Nowadays Evil Dead 2 is basically the most beloved of the Evil Dead movies, while TCM 2 is basically the only other noteworthy TCM movie, aside from the original and the Bay Remake. So I expect Peninsula to be remembered as a fun detour and a different fresh breath of air to Train to Busan. 1.

Oct 23, 2021 · The first movie is intense, focused and gripping but Peninsula is just awful. There's so many driving scenes and it's all CGI pretty much and seriously looks like PS2 cutscenes. Terrible acting, dialogue and the movie just looks so ugly as well. Couldn't even finish it, and the first movie is probably my favourite zombie movie tied with 28 Days ...
Sep 11, 2022 · Yeah, Peninsula is such a bonkers movie. It really feels like the director realized there was no way a sequel to Train to Busan would be quite as wonderful, said fuck it and made this weird grindhouse movie instead. It's definitely not a good movie, but I appreciated just how strange it was. 4.
So no one in Train to Busan is in Peninsula. Only relation between the two movies is they are set in the same universe. Nope. The new doesn’t really hold up to Train to Busan. But if you like zombies and chaos it’s still an entertaining flick. Just don’t think too much and definitely don’t go in and try to compare to Train to Busan.
