PDBsum1 is a standalone version of PDBsum Generate for local installation and running. It generates the same analyses as PDBsum, with the added advantage of allowing you direct access to the computed data.
PDBsum 1 is run from the command line. Before you can run it, you need to create an environment variable called CATHPARAM that points to the file: pdbsum1/params/CATHPARAM. This is the file you edited during installation (see Installation Instructions ).
Oct 27, 2017 · Users can upload their own structures for analysis via the Generate link on the PDBsum home page. A unique PDB code and password are e‐mailed when the analyses are complete, giving access to a set of PDBsum pages with all the features described above.

Some of its most recent features include figures from the structure's key reference, citation data, Pfam domain diagrams, topology diagrams and protein-protein interactions.
PDBsum1 is a standalone set of programs to perform the same structural analyses as provided by the PDBsum web server (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/pdbsum). The server has pages for every entry in the Protein Data Bank (PDB) and can also process user‐uploaded PDB files, returning a password‐protected set of pages that are retained for around 3 months.

Its pages aim to provide an at-a-glance view of the contents of every 3D structure, plus detailed structural analyses of each protein chain, DNA–RNA chain and any bound ligands and metals.
