Feb 16, 2023 · I have the Onenote (2016) and I don't like it. I have tried installing the Onenote for Windows 10 from the microsoft store, but there is still only 1 Onenote in the list of apps. I tried changing the default apps in protocol, but there is only 1 options (the current onenote) and when I click search the microsoft store, it says onenote is installed.

Aug 2, 2019 · One other way I found that Microsoft does give the option of exporting the entire notebook in OneNote for Windows 10 is to do a Print to PDF. You can select page, section, or notebook. Not ideal but works for our needs.

I learned the other day that it is very easy to accidentally wipe out a large chunk of text --hours of work erased from a page--without realizing it.
Apr 6, 2021 · OneNote system is up to date (in Windows), clearing Cache and Backup folders didn't work. Storage space is not an issue either. Going offline or pausing syncronization didn't work (even without internet connection, OneNote will still freeze in "Not responding" for minutes). However OneNote online (in Sharepoint) works fine.
3.Open the problematic notebook in OneNote application via OneNote Online at www.onenote.com. Close the problematic notebook in OneNote application. (if there is content in notebooks, please backup the content that are not synced to OneNote Online in the notebook in advance.) After closing the notebook from application, Open OneNote Online.

So I would suggest what I said before: Just remove the tile and ignore it. If you are used to a desktop version of OneNote like OneNote 2013 or 2016: That one is still there and you can continue to use it.
