That's why your first scan of a folder may be surprisingly long. Each subsequent change in the folder will make Ohm Studio rescan it but it will be faster than the first one.

Dec 12, 2013 · Free version is limited to compressed audio export and 16 bit audio recording. It features basic FX and UVI Ohmplug instrument. It still can use 3rd party vst plugins and you can make complete song with it (within the limit of 10 projects). Upgrades: Ohm Studio Pro: Record in 24-bit.
At least one of the three remaining processes were probably “ohm_studio_wrapvst_guest.exe”. During the VST scan, we encapsulate each tested plug-in in a new process, so we avoid crashing the main application if something goes wrong with one of them. There was probably a plug-in stuck for some reason and the testing process failed to quit.

Aug 7, 2015 · When will offline mode be ready please ? You have said it's the number one priority since at least December 2013. I really don't know how you can release a DAW that doesn't let you save your project on your hard drive in the first place, let alone be working on it for over a year and a half without results. It's just saving your project on disk- how hard can it be?!
Apr 26, 2016 · Yes, Ohm Studio as a software is pretty much dead. We haven't received any patches for a long time, which is pretty disappointing since Ohm has some very annoying bugs. It definitely could be improved. While the program is dead, it still has a small but dedicated community.
This occurs when Ohm doesn't launch correctly or doesn't shut down correctly. What happens is that in the background there's an Ohm Studio zombie-process still running. Steam sees this and thinks Ohm is still running, so it prohibits the launch. To fix this, open the task manager, list all processes and kill everyone containing "Ohm Studio" in ...
