Oct 5, 2022 · So, if you're on an Oculus headset (Quest with Link, Rift) enable unknown sources in the settings for the Oculus PC software so you can run SteamVR. Find the executable (.exe) for the game you've just downloaded and installed/extracted (you may have to look around in the game directory depending on what game) and add it as a Non-Steam game shortcut within Steam.
how in the fuck is the oculus arguably the most popular and one of the most advanced headsets on earth and we can't even change the install path of the quest app on PC without doing so in a command prompt? Absurd.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Oculus VR, LLC\Oculus\Libraries\ HKEY_CURRENT_USER and Software is already there. So, Just copy "Oculus VR, LLC", right click on Software then New -> Key -> paste the name.

Dec 13, 2017 · By default, Oculus Home isn't shown on your desktop / monitor. In order to make it show up, you can run the Oculus Mirror app found here: C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusMirror.exe. I've seen this question pop up a few times, so I figured this solution could use some visibility.

Jan 18, 2018 · I cant seem to get the oculus debug tool, I've tried downloading it off the website like everyone recommends but in the tools folder of the oculus sdk there is no launch option for the debug tool, just something called oculusvrvalidator which doesn't do anything.

Nov 22, 2022 · The third link is just the server that the file got downloaded from, I think. There was a bunch more info that, if you kept it in, would download OculusSetup. I'm pretty sure it was one of the two, but I don't trust myself enough to say that I did for sure.
