Jul 3, 2024 · Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Shri G Kishan Reddy, inaugurated the NIRMAN portal in New Delhi, aligning with PM Modi’s “Mission Karmayogi.” This CSR initiative by Coal India Limited aims to aid meritorious youth from its operational districts who cleared the UPSC Preliminary exams in 2024.
On 2 nd July, 2024, Ministry of Coal launched the NIRMAN Portal, a unique CSR scheme by Coal India Limited (CIL). The objective of the NIRMAN Portal is to provide financial support of Rs 1,00,000/- to eligible UPSC aspirants. The scheme is aligned with the vision of "Mission Karmayogi".
