How to use our HDRIs in your 3D software. Edit. Our HDRIs are made to be plug-and-play. If you're using a pathtraced engine, you shouldn't need to do anything fancy to get them to work. Here are some video demos to get you started: Blender, or use our Blender Add-on. 3ds Max + Corona.
Feb 21, 2019 · An HDRI seems like a good option, however, from reading your posts and other sites, to make an HDRI dome the camera has to be in the centre of the scene. For me, this is not possible as there’s a house in the way!

HDRI Requirements. The following is a list of technical requirements that must be met for any HDRI to be published on Poly Haven. We only publish photo-based HDRIs, no renders of virtual scenes. Minimum 16k (horizontal) resolution. HDRI must be unclipped.
Feb 21, 2019 · As a rule of thumb, if you can reach 12 EVs of dynamic range (e.g. 5 shots spaced by 3 EVs, or 7 shots spaced by 2 EVs) then you can shoot an HDRI almost anywhere. If you ever encounter situations where the lights are so bright you need even more dynamic range, there are tricks to get around your limits.
