Nov 6, 2021 · A couple things. 1. the R6400 doesn't have a repeater/extender mode. 2. In bridge mode, the wifi is used exclusively to go from router----router. If its in bridge mode, you'd need to log into the primary router to get the r6400's ip address. 3. You can hardwire the r6400 in and use it in access point mode.

If I connect the Ethernet to from my laptop to the extender will I be prompted? In the booklet it doesn’t give a way to hardwire connect from the extender to a device. Thanks for letting me know.
