In 1986 the erstwhile Netaji Nagar College was trifurcated and Netaji Nagar Day College was formed. Generally, Library materials were also divided among three colleges. Smt. Anima Sengupta was the first librarian of this college. The then Library Room was on the 4th floor of the Main Building.
