May 8, 2021 · I found a workaround for a second, disabling and reenabling the mixed reality headset in device manager. It worked until I restarted my computer, then that trick failed to work after. I have reinstalled motherboard chipset, video card drivers (amd rx480), uninstalled and reinstalled the mixed reality portal and odyssey+ hardware.

Oct 12, 2018 · What i had forgotton was that id changed the location folder of my windowsapps to a separate drive. So when using mixed reality headset it was looking for the windowsapps folder location on my D: drive which had a different user permission associated with it, hence my dcom errors not being able to grant permission, regardless of regedits.
