Apr 7, 2023 · Since then, i have tried to resolve this by getting rid of all my bing extensions (that i'm aware of) and changing all my default browsers (that i'm aware of) to google chrome, all of which did not resolve the problem. I then searched the internet and found that it may have been microsoft rewards creating the issue - once again nothing changed.

Everyone hates Bing, nobody wants this here, but there is no setting in windows options to remove Bing from the start menu (even after disabling Bing from Search toolbar, browser, etc.) the Bing Chat buttons still remain in the start menu's search functionality right at the top.

Just a gentle reminder that we are only Microsoft users like you here in the community. We are not Microsoft employees and we do not have tools to access any Microsoft System.
Only workaround for now is uninstalling the app via settings > apps > installed apps by searching for 'Bing' and then reinstalling from the Microsoft store searching for 'web search'. That worked for me.
Sep 28, 2023 · And, of course none of those steps resolved the issue. Why, because it's on the Microsoft end that's causing it. Since the latest updates to both the Edge and Bing homepages about a week ago, the issues began. I contacted Microsoft Support and got a reply that they are aware of the issues and are currently trying to correct them.
