Jun 12, 2023 · The ex-showroom price of my Thar (Petrol LX HT AT 4x4 variant) was ₹16.10L. At that time, there was a discount of ₹40k that I got. With that discount, and with all taxes, insurance and other charges (FastTag, extended warranty etc.) included, the on road price was ₹19.87L.
Oct 15, 2020 · The Thar is never settled, no matter what the road or speed. Poor road manners at high speed. Best to cruise at 100 - 110 km/h only. Impractical due to the 2-doors, 4 seats (not 5) & difficult access to the back seat. Laughably small boot simply isn’t enough for holiday luggage.

The 1.5L's fuel efficiency will be noticeably higher than that of the 2.2L diesel. Very well priced. Value-for-money price tag. Fun, fun, fun! The fog lights, with the scorpion Tail, on the Scorpio N, and the Grill, and the Alloy Wheels on the ROXX. As a new Thar RWD owner, I feel shortchanged with the following.
Apr 27, 2021 · The overall average for the 10,000 KM ownership is 11.55 KMPL, Rs. 7.10 per KM. Yeah, not much of an impact vs. the first 3,000 KM - but am sure I could have clocked better mileage figures in the first 3,000 KM because I was babying the Thar at ~80 KMPH, with only bursts of 90 to 110 KMPH. Oh well.
