  2. Dec 20, 2020 · Hi @Anonymous, Once your model is scaled, go to a Dimension Style Manager (DIM command), select the style you want to adjust and modify the scale in FIT. If you change the value from 1 to 10, it will get 10 times larger (general scaling) or vice versa, which saves you from having to edit the value of each part individually. Regards, Johanna ...

  3. Oct 22, 2015 · In Parameters dialog you cannot change units. You can however, type any unit into a dimension. For instance, while working in mm you can enter "2 in". Since you are working in mm, the display will show mm, but the distance will be 2 inches absolute length. If you want a parameter to be 4 instead of 4.167, just enter 4 instead of 100/12/2 as the ...

  4. Apr 30, 2012 · 04-30-2012 06:40 AM. You need to do both - change the System Units to "1 unit = 1mm" AND use the Rescale World utility (set to "scene", with a factor of 1000). Whatever you do don't Scale the objects (with the Scale tool) - it can cause any number of problems if you do. It shouldn't mess with either the UVs or the meshes - if any objects have ...

  5. Dec 23, 2022 · If you want the drawing unit to represent a meter, you should scale the whole drawing down by 1/1000. I suspect that the Dimension Style used to draw those Dimensions has a measurement scale factor of 0.001 applied, so that the numbers come out in meters instead of in mm [drawing units]. If you scale everything down, change that measurement ...

  6. Aug 15, 2005 · If it is former, you can simply go to Tools -> Document Settings -> Units -> change it to mm. If it is latter, you will need to edit each part. 7. Jan 15, 2014 · If you set a scale of 1:200 and you set the desired plot unites to mm below that, then 1 mm will plot as 200 mm and the units says "200" because that is the scale you set. If you say "Custom" in the scale, then set 1 & mm below that, then 200 below that at "Units", that would be exactly the same as plotting 1:200 for a specified scale.

  10. Mar 29, 2022 · 1) First layout I set the plot scale 1 mm = 1 unit. Because Autocad works in units, that means site plan in model space even drawn in meters (768.67 m x 436.54 m), after inserting on A3 sheet (0.42 m x 0.297 m or 420 mm x 297 mm) will be scaled with a scale of 1:2, because Autocad convert the meter in units and mm in units as well.
